The Guide To Agency Remuneration

A couple of years ago we wrote a short little yellow book about agency remuneration. We wanted to capture lots of the conversations we were having at the time with marketing and procurement clients. We did a real world print run and listed them for sale on TinyPay. This was in the early days of Kindle and iBooks didn't yet exist.

The topic of remuneration is as important as it was in 2009. Huge volumes of media business has been pitched in those last 3 years and it is a challenge for marketing and procurement leaders to drive best practice in the new media contracts they are developing. We are strong advocates of working with agencies who embrace a culture of performance and we've have seen a trend of clients seeking to move away from the tyranny of agency commission.

On top of this, in the last 3 years, the media world has changed a little and this necessitated an update to the content and also some new channels of distribution. Now available on iTunes, the 2012 updated version 2 of The Guide to Agency Remuneration.

Its free to download for iPad only. If you want a pdf version you cancontact us via the website and we'll see what we can do for you.

If you do take the time to read it, we'd really appreciate your thoughts on it. And use this blog to post comments, ideas and build on this. We are slowly turning this book into a more detailed manual of how to manage marketing service suppliers in the digital age, more details to follow on this in future posts.
